PCHA has joined with the Wealth Building Coalition to offer free Financial Education Workshops at PCHA's Central Office located at 11479 Ulmerton Road in Largo. The two-part workshop series will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, September 20th and from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 29th, 2011.
By participating in the Financial Education Workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the various types of financial institutions, will learn the fundamentals of a checking and savings account, and will learn how to better manage their finances. Once the participant completes both of the required workshops they will receive a Bank on St. Pete (BOSP) Certificate. This BOSP certificate will allow the participant to begin a banking relationship, regardless of their previous banking history, from a select list of financial partners.
