General Information

Seeking to provide safe, quality housing for persons in need while cultivating healthy, vibrant neighborhoods for Pinellas County is part of PCHA’s ongoing mission.  Among the many innovative programs and services the PCHA utilizes to follow that mission, acquiring and developing housing communities is among a list of high priorities and activities.

In 2009, as part of our five-year goals and strategic planning, PCHA set out to increase the availability of housing options utilizing innovative financing and implementing green initiatives, where applicable.

PCHA has pulled together a team of staff and professional consultants while partnering with both public and private entities in order to continuously seek out and pursue affordable housing opportunities for development and acquisition.  Striving to fulfill our mission, our agency is a leader and innovator in providing affordable housing opportunities and we will continue to build our housing portfolio in order to serve more families in need.
