Pinellas County Housing Authority to host Strong Families Community Resource Fair
On Friday, June 8, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, the Pinellas County Housing Authority (PCHA), the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department, and the Beaming Hope Church are combining their community service efforts and will host a community wide, HUD Strong Families Community Resource Fair.
At this free event, families will engage in team building activities, listen and dance to live music from the Police Athletic League (PAL) Drumline as well as local Christian recording artists, participate in arts and crafts, and enjoy enriching family games. Produce, clothing, household items, and beauty products for the entire family will be provided free of charge by Beaming Hope Church.
Community residents will have an opportunity to explore the many different programs and services offered by local agencies including: Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA), Healthy Start Coalition, Community Health Centers of Pinellas, Inc., St. Petersburg College (SPC), Boy Scouts of America, Largo for Youth, Young Life, BTAG/YMCA, Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA), and World Financial Group (Life Insurance Agency).
Families attending will also be entered into a raffle to win free restaurant and grocery store gift cards!
