PUBLIC NOTICE

The Pinellas County Housing Authority (PCHA) will be opening its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Project Based Voucher (PBV) waiting list for its new property, Valor Preserve at Lake Seminole. This waiting list is for Veterans who have been honorably discharged, and elderly, disabled or homeless applicants that reside in Pinellas County. Eligible Veterans will be given preference. Veterans must provide a DD214 at the time of application.

Pre-applications will be accepted online for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher (PBV) for Valor Preserve at Lake Seminole waiting list, beginning 8:00 a.m. ET, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, through 5:00 p.m. ET, Friday, February 23, 2024.

Applicants can access and complete the online pre-application to get on the waiting list from our website. Choose this property from the RentCafe for Applicants section.

Pre-applications will ONLY be available electronically, via the online application portal, on the dates listed above. PCHA will be accepting the first five hundred (500) applications for this waiting list.

This Public Notice serves as the opening and closing of the PBV Valor Preserve at Lake Seminole waiting list. The PBV Valor Preserve at Lake Seminole waiting list will be opened from 8:00 a.m. ET, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, through 5:00 p.m. ET, Friday, February 23, 2024, in compliance with PCHA’s Administrative Plan and HUD Regulations.

This waiting list is for rental assistance at Valor Preserve at Lake Seminole, 9575 Seminole Boulevard, Seminole, Florida 33772, located in Pinellas County.

Reasonable Accommodation

Applicants whose head of household are disabled and need a Reasonable Accommodation to have a paper pre-application mailed to them, may do so beginning 8:00 a.m. ET, Friday, January 26, 2024, through 5:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, February 1, 2024, by calling (727) 443-7684 ext. 1280. Pre-applications returned by mail must be postmarked February 14, 2024, through February 23, 2024.
