Pinellas Housing Authority Launches New Accessible Website!

Websites need to be physically accessible to provide equal access and equal opportunity to people with disabilities.  The benefits of website accessibility include the ability to better navigate, comprehend, and interact with the opportunities within that webpage.

When creating the new website, PCHA used such examples of “alt text” on images, and providing a “text transcript” to videos and pictures. These additions help provide information that is now available to everyone, regardless of ability.
